The Tegernsee Treehouse was constructed in a wonderful, expansive ash tree for use as an "activity and discovery island" for the owners’ and their neighbours' children, but the parents are bound to enjoy the stunning view across the gentle Alpine foothills to the high peaks of Mount Wendelstein and the Rotwand.

In the first construction phase the large terrace was installed at a height of 5 m, and the installation of the treehouse itself followed during the winter of 2004.
