The point of departure for this concept is ›folding‹. Thanks to its three-dimensional development, the staircase turns into a ramp and ultimately defines the floor, wall and ceiling space of the treehouse. Because of the meandering surfaces, a tension is created in the path between the trees and there is a flowing transition to the interior space. The approach which typifies the design is evident not only in the exterior building elements but also in the shaping of the interior and the lighting.
